These terms apply when you use SocietyBanks at societybanks.online. By using the site, you agree to them. The site is run by Kubal (“we”).

What SocietyBanks is

Information, not advice

SocietyBanks is for learning and transparency. We work to keep information accurate and dated, but sources can be wrong or out of date, and we can make mistakes. Don’t rely on the site alone for any financial or legal decision: check the facts with the society and the official source. To report an error, see Corrections.

Your account

What you send us

This covers annual reports, rate cards, photos, corrections, page claims and anything else you upload or write.

Claiming a society’s page

Only people authorised by a society may claim its page. We check each claim before approving it. Changes are checked before they appear and never change figures, records or rankings. We remove access if a claim turns out to be false.

Ask law

Ask law gives general information from the text of the Act. It is not legal advice and may be incomplete or out of date. For your own situation, read the official text or speak to a lawyer.

Don’t misuse the site

You must not:

Our content and others’

The site’s design, code and text are ours. Public records belong to their publishers. You may quote and share our pages with a link back. For bulk reuse, see the Data access terms.

We link to official sources and other websites. We are not responsible for their content.

Our liability

We provide SocietyBanks free, as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss from using the information, including decisions to deposit or withdraw money. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Complaints

For complaints about content or your data, write to our admin(/grievance-officer).

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bangalore have jurisdiction.
