Corrections
We want every figure and record on SocietyBanks to be right. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.
How to report a mistake
- On the society’s page, choose Report a correction. Or write to contact@societybanks.online.
- Tell us what is wrong and, if you can, where the right information is published.
- Leave your email address if you would like a reply. You don’t need an account.
What happens next
- We reply within 7 days if you left an email address.
- If we made a mistake, we fix it, and the page shows the date it was updated.
- If the mistake is in an official source, such as the National Cooperative Database, we tell you how to get it fixed there. We may add a note to the page in the meantime.
- If a figure matches the annual report it came from, we keep it, and we show the page number so anyone can check.
What we don’t remove
We don’t remove accurate public records, such as a society’s status or its place on an official list, just because someone asks. We do correct them when they are wrong or out of date.
For societies
If you run a society, choose Claim this page on its page to keep your office hours, website, photos and FD rates up to date. To correct figures, upload the annual report they should come from.
