Data access terms

Researchers, journalists and public bodies can ask for free access to SocietyBanks data through our API.

How to get access

Write to admin@kubal.online with your name, your organisation and what you plan to do. If we agree, we send you a key. Keep it private.

What you may do

• Use the data for research, reporting, teaching and public-interest work.
• Publish findings and small extracts, credited “Source: SocietyBanks (societybanks.online)” with the date you got the data.

What you may not do

• Sell the data, or offer it as a service, without our written permission.
• Share your key, or go beyond its daily limit.
• Present the data as a rating or ranking of societies, or suggest we endorse your conclusions.
• Try to identify any person from the data.

Sources and accuracy

The data includes information from public sources, which have their own terms; you must follow those too. The data is provided as it is, with no promise that it is complete or free of errors.

Ending access

We may limit or end access at any time, for example if these terms are broken. These terms apply alongside our Terms of use.
